I had heard a rumor over at H&R Talk that they were going to come out with the 22-250 again. So, I called customer service a few minutes ago to see. Sure enough, the guy there told me they will be available after the first of the year, and that 22-250 barrels would be available as add-ons. Looks like I'll be getting a 22-250 and a 223 to go with the 243 when I send it in.

Will those barrels fit on the survivor series from NEF? I'm planning on getting the .308 first, then send it in for the .223 hb, but you can never have enough options....

My guess would be that all of the handi-rifle receivers are the same (handi-rifle, survivor, superlight) since they all have the SB-2 nomenclature. I would guess that these barrels can be fitted, although I don't know that the barrels will be contoured the same. Like in the case of the superlight, the barrel is a lot lighter/shorter/skinnier than the standard handi-rifle barrel.
