In South Africa, it is all shooting sticks. Shots are taken as the animal presents itself, and brush etc. makes standing up the norm. Use a bipod if your able to be prone for most of your shots. Can also just rest the rifle on a backpack or coat. Good luck

Personaly I like the shooting sticks,for me they are quicker to get on target with,they allow shooting from positions other than prone like sitting, kneeling and offhand also take a wrap of the sling along with the sticks and its rocksolid, for me anyway
