Last night, there was a knock at the door and the Big Brown truck delivered my new AR upper!
I traded a Ruger Mini 14 factory folding stock for a complete AR upper...... opened the package and saw that I didn't get what I expected.....
I expected a new 16 or 18" chrome lined bull barrel, A3 flat top upper, complete with bolt and carrier, front gas block with picatinny rail instead of a front sight, aluminum floated handguard.....
I opened the end of the package, pulled out some of the packing and saw a stainless muzzle peeking out......What is this? A new A3 upper, aluminum floated hand guard, picatinny front gas block......and, a stainless 20" fluted bull barrel!
I think I can live with that!!!
If I decide it's too heavy, I'll hold off shooting it and will trade it for a 16" when I see the guys at the gunshow.......

I hate to see anyone disappointed, so I'll take it off your hands, what do you want for it.

HHMMMN...
$64,000.00 sounds a little pricey. Bennie, I'd make him throw in a box of bullets too.
GH that rifle sure oughta be a shooter. The fluted barrels are really nice looking and a little lighter too. One thing that might help offset the weight is a patrol style sling. I've got a couple of them and they position the rifle a little better for the long walks to and from set-ups. Maybe more comfortable. Just a thought.
20" barrels seem to be the best trade off between accuracy and weight. That one should be real nice if you can stand to tote it. Good luck and keep us posted.
