This is the newest horse in the stable, it's a stainless Remington Model 7, 243, in a Mcmillian Mt. rifle stock with a Redfield 2-7 in Burris Z rings....I bought it over the net and my dealer called this evening telling me to come get it.....hope it shoots as good as it looks! I'll find out tomorrow if it doesn't rain........ sorry for the poor photo, it is from the guy that sold me the rifle...... pictures.auctionarms.com/7778111511/ACF9D05.JPG[/img]

Sweet!! Is there a Model 7 that you don't own at this point?? Can you tell that I am jealous? Congrats........I hope it is a shooter. By the way, do you think he has that scope far enough back? Bob

Well, I don't own a 17 or a 6mm or a 350 mag....and I didn't have a 243 in stainless until now......you know it's an addiction!
The scope is actually about right for eye relief.....
.......an addiction I tell ya...... ;D

Got any ammo through her yet. I love that stock. Good luck on the rain, it is nasty here right now.

Not yet....the rain stopped for a few hours yesterday but I would have needed hip boots to set the target! Oh well, it gives me more time to think about the loads I want to try. ;D
