All: Wipe Out is truely amazing stuff. Read the can before use. It will take the finish off of your beautiful wood stocks if you are not careful. I would suggest leaving the foam in the bore for at least two hours for the first use ( don't freak out, it will not damage the bore) Position "slightly" muzzle down (just past level so nothing runs back into the trigger assembly)and let it work. You can leave the stuff in overnight if you like. It stays in its foam condition for a long time. Place a rag under the muzzle just in case. On a very dirty barrel, I run a brush through the bore followed by several clean, dry patches before I use Wipe Out. I use it with a bore guide and a one second blast will overfill most of the time. Again, be careful around finished wood stocks. GH turned me on to this stuff. Like you I was very skeptical of a "clean barrel in a can" with little effort, but I was amazed at the outcome.
