Does anyone except Weaver make bases to fit the Number 3 Ruger ? I would like to get some in steel and then put on steel rings. The aluminum Weaver rings had one of the screws strip out, so looking for a nicer replacement. Thank you for any help you can give.

There is a set on ebay right now, just do a search on ebay for them under gun assessories.

David if that dosent work,Brownells has the steel Weaver type(crosslotted takes weaver or burrus rings),,Warren gunsmith steel base,these bases are not drilled you would have to have them mounted(on a 45/70 consider haveing them silversoidered IMO)
