Welcome fishman!! Man, 70# in a recurve is some UUMPH!! I had a 60# Super Kodiak but it was just too much for my shoulder to take so I had to sell it REM223PA, glad to have you on the board! Sounds like you've been pretty successful with a bow I'm still working my way through the Texas critters, so far I've taken whitetail, hogs, rams and am looking forward to expanding that list a bit when I go to Africa in June.

Too bad you didn't get to make your trip The big game I hope to take are a kudu and a gemsbok. The package we are going on includes three critters for 'bait' but if I get the chance, a kudu is going on the wall!! ;D

Just found this page! I bought a Golden Eagle Turbo Hawk when I live in MT but never hunted w/ it. This Christmas my wife bought me gift cards for-rest, sites, release. Now I need to get them installed and start shootin' ;D

I just bought a hoyt, with a 26 to 30 inch draw, 65% let off. I have been bow hunting for about three years now and it has stuck in my blood.

I'm new to the boards and I thought I'd chime in. I've been hunting with a bow since I was 15 and I'm about to turn 32 in June. I was a PSE fan since I started but I just bought a Mathews Outback. Still waiting on my bow to come in this week.
Though I have been hunting for many years with a bow I am on a mission to stick a HOG and a Turkey(these are the 2 animals that I have not arrowed). I have drawn back on 3 different hogs but have yet to let an arrow fly. I have also drawn back one time on a turkey but those suckers have great eyes and it knocked me off real quick like. Excluding all of the exotic game(except for a couple Axis does I arrowed) I've shot mostly everything else in the Central/South TX area. I hope to meet a lot of new folks on here. I know KellyG but thats the only one that I've noticed that I know..Adios' for now..
