Swift is better known for their telescopes, but they make a pretty decent rifle scope. I found out about them from an air rifle forum. For the money they are hard to beat. They are not in the class of Leupolds, Nikons, etc. but for around $ 150 - $200 you can't go wrong. Lifetime warranty to boot. I have the model 669MA : 6-18 x 44. I was blown away by the quality of the optics from such an inexpensive scope.

I have owned Swift scopes in the past. I have no complaints about them and while I had them they worked plenty fine. However, after buying a used rifle with a Leopold scope and a single shot pistol with a Burris scope I got hooked on that higher dollar glass. Swift cannot compare to the pricier Leo/Burris/Nikon level of scopes of course and they should not be compared to them on a head to head basis. Amongst its peers, I would prefer Swift over Tasco but would take one of the Cabelas scopes over a Swift. I really think that the extra money for a Burris/Leo/Nikon scope is money well spent.
