I have been shopping around and have narrowed my choices down to a Burris FF2 4.5-14x42 and the Bushnell Elite 4200 4-16x40. I am looking at putting one of these on my CZ 527. The price difference is only $10 at BearBasin. Can anyone give me a shove in the right direction? Thanks, Mark

Mark -
If you've had the chance to handle them, for ten bucks it comes down to personal preferences. I hear good things about both of these scopes - either one will probably work well for you......
How do the guarantees stack up? How do they each perform in low light conditions for you? Determine what product differentiations there are for each of them. Which of these unique qualities are more important to you?

Mark,
Bear Basin is great to work with. Their folks know what they are talking about. They usually have the best prices as well. If not, they will match prices. The customer service is excellent.
Between those two scopes, I would go with the Elite 4200. It is in the same class as the Nikon Monarch, Vari X-III, and Burris Signature. The FF-II is a closer match to the Elite 3200. FYI-I just odereed a FF-II Ballistic Plex 3-9x40 for a new 7mm-08 project gun, so I do like them.

;)Can't say anything bad about Bushnell. I've had one 3X9 on top of of an old .30-.06 Husqvarna, belonged to my F-I-L.
The scope is very sharp and bright. No complaints! ;D
