I'm I the only person that has a hard time getting the reticle level in my scope? How is the best way to get the reticle level with the gun, short of buying one of those reticle leveler deals for $20? Hooter

The way I do it is make sure your gun is as level as possible and then line up on a straight edge, such as a line in paneling. Also the bottm of the verticle cross hair should look to be centered on your gun in your perriffel (sdc) vision.

Easier with most rings other that "Weaver"...those things are killers as the scope cants when you tighten the screws.....so you gotta use "Kentucky Windage" on 'em

Hooter: Trust me, you are most certainly NOT the only person who worries about this. I somtimes pull my hair out, and loose sleep at night over it. I'm sure that there is some psycological term for what I have, but it drives me bonkers to see a rifle with a canted reticle in the scope. I learned that if you slap a Harris bipod on the rifle, and support the buttstock on something, and then line up the crosshairs on something known to be straight (the uprights on my back yard privacy fence) then you are usually "good to go". This works for me.
