i invested about 50 bucks into a set of stick stoppers.they are metal and replace the old cheap plastic cv joint guards that come with the bike. no problems with cut boots. and i drive mine through any and everything i can.

hey ag........bought them from berts dirt works in spring,tx. they are not hard to install. just have to make sure when they go on that you have enough space between S.S. and the front tire. bertsdirtworks.com 1-866-832-dirt.

I have a 1998 Honda Recon 250. This thing is amazing, it just keeps going. All I have ever had to do to it is change the oil and clean the air filter. I use it for setting birds at Feild Trials. Transportation in between stands while coyote hunting and hunting and hauling mule deer out of the sand dunes.

I have two 350 Artic Cats. One with manual tranny and one with auto. Will buy the auto transmissions from now on. No more shifting!! I have pulled a large trailer loaded with a deer stand, two feeders and 500lbs of corn with two passengers and did not even have to down shift to pull hills. The Artic Cat is much quieter than any of the other atv's I have been around. If you do buy one get a winch put on it. I do not know what I did before I put the winch on it. I have use it to pull dead hogs from brush that I could only crawl in to tie the cable around his leg. It is great for throwing over a limb and pulling up deer to skin and clean!

I have three and love them all. We use them a lot out on the ranch. 2 are Yamaha Kodiak 400's w/ selectable 4wd and 1 is a Honda Recon 250 2wd.
They have been great utilitiy vehicles and have saved my truck from some pretty hard service.
