I bought a set of non-woven fabric 3D camo on ebay a year ago. It was downright cheap too. I can slip it over a tee shirt and pair of shorts on a hot day or over a sweatshirt on a cool day.
It has been cut like leaf ends so a light breeze will cause it to come alive. Can't say if it has helped any, but I think it looks more realistic than the other stuff.
One big drawback - can't walk through the stickers or briars with it on. Its too flimsy.
Hope this helps.

I've got one from Underbrush that I've used for about 4 years. I've had deer within 10 yards looking at me on a tripod without any cover to speak of. They decided I wasn't a threat and commenced munching corn. Once they make that decision, you can move slowly and they wont spook. I really like it and like ICM said, you can wear them over just shorts in the beautiful Texas summer Oh yeah, it freaks cows out when you come outta the tree stand near the feeder too ;D ;D

Bozo, about 7-8 years ago a archery shop that I shot for found this stuff called LeafyWear, if it's still out I don't know but it was small netting that worked great for early season archery hunting all the way through Feb. I went hunting many times in shorts and a dark colored t-shirt and had no problems with being seen by animals or people, when it got a bit cooler you just added more underclothing. It was great due to the fact you could leave it in a plastic box with earth scent or whatever you like ( don't use skunk! ) when you get to your hunting spot take it out and slip it on. I think you can find stuff like it in Cabela's. Don't know how good it would work in your part of the world but up here where we have trees it works great. Kirk S.

Food for though. I have a nice 3D suit but had added my own touchs. Went to a local craft store and picked up a bag full of silk leaves that the ladies use in making all them fall and winter arrangements. They have all colors, shapes and sizes, just get the ones that looks like your hunting area, they are made of silk and plastic and are water proof. I also picked up small black safety pins. I took the leaves off of the stocks and pinned them all over to the 3D suit. When wearing it you look like a big bush. Works very well for me. I also done this to one of those small folding ground blinds. Easy to do.

I have a suit from Underbrush that I bought from Bass Pro on clearance two years ago. I use it for bow hunting, and anytime I hunt on the ground. I think it is the best overall solution for concealment in these warm southern states. I would highly recommend getting one. I love mine, the only downfall as mentioned earlier is they are not very briar friendly (or cockleburr, or sandburr)

Chicken, How noisy is that design when rubbing against brush?

BozoWise, I guess about as noisy as light nylon through the brush. The 3D suit is one of those made for warm wheater and skeeters. It roll-up tight and fits in a large pocket of my turket vest. It quick to put on when a good bushwacking location is found.
