Guys...just purchased a new set of shooting sticks....came to me with a pretty good recommendation...I will advise y'all when the ups man brings them...got 2 sets for the price of one, the sitting/kneeling size was what I wanted, but for 5.00 bucks more you can get the prone set as well.....shipping and all was about 26.00 for 2 sets and shipping... I will let you know about them after I have had a chance to T & E them better.. Here is a link to take a look at them... I bought a pair & think they're a good bang for the buck, They fold up & put away quickly. Used them the other day will certainly work for a long shot. My .02.

I have a pair I got at bass pro shops. Real nice when you are spot and stalking animals. Worked out real nice on a Mouflon Ram last spring out in the hills by del Rio. The funny thing was at first the guide was giving me a hard time about using them. before I left he thought they were pretty neat.

I've used the Stoney Point sticks for 3 years and love em. Have taken all kinds of big and small game. EZ to use and set up/take down... Slew

OK call me cheap but I made my own with 2 3/4" dowel rods, 3 1/4" flatwashers, a 1/4" bolt and nut. They work great and well if I forget them well I'm out $4.50 and the 30 minutes to put them together. They are by no means as slick as the foldup type but for us financially embarassed they work good.
