Gentlemen, If any of you are looking for a top-notch range bag, look no further than Hafner Creations of Lake City, Florida (www.hafnerworldwide.com). This little company is owned by a husband and wife team who really know what their doing! I discovered this company rather recently, when I called Brownell's about an impressive looking product they had in their catalog and was told by the technical rep. that it was made by Hafner Creations. Next thing I knew, I had one of their range bags and was getting rid of the other two I'd been using for some years. I'm not exagerating when I tell you that these bags are vastly superior to anything else I've seen, even by other companies esteemed to be the front-runners in the manufacture of such gear (e.g. Blackhawk Industries, Dillon Precision, Shooting Systems, etc.). And they don't just make range bags! Check 'em out. Dave

Bob, Lots of detailed pics at their website (www.hafnerworldwide.com). The phone number is 386-755-6481.
I'm tellin' ya Bob, you've just gotta have one of their 17" Professional Range Bags if you've got alot of bulky and/or high-dollar field support gear (e.g. large spotting scopes, binoculars, cameras, rangefinders, backup handguns, tools, etc.). And these bags don't just accomodate your stuff, they protect it!
If you do go for one, however, talk to me about two or three modifications that they did for me in my bag, 'cause the way they have it set up standard leaves a little bit to be desired. For example, note that the bag works better for carrying long instruments like spotting scopes if you take the middle compartment divider, make it the length of the whole compartment, and then have the velco fasteners sewn in horizontally half-way from the bottom. It makes for two, long compartments (one on top of the other), instead of two short, side-by-side compartments!
