hey todbartell I have been wondering how you were comeing with your 260remmy?? What do you want to know? I just swapped out the Bushnell Elite 3200 5-15x40mm AO scope for my Burris Full Field II 3-9x40mm, and now it weighs 6.75 lbs with scope. Gearing up for yote season.

was wondering if you had gotten the ssts dialed in I tried them originally with some Winchester WXR, got a 1.5" group or so...then I've tried them with WXR & 7828, with so-so results...1.5"-2" groups...and then I tried some h4831sc and got the same or worse....this, with a rifle that will stack 120 gr. Nosler BT's into sub 1" for 5 shots.... I will try playing with them some more this coming summer, maybe I will have better luck...

Todd, if you are talkin bout the 129 SST in your 260 Remmy, try 46gr of IMR4831. This is a compressed load and a relativley hot one, so start low and work your way up. It shoots GREAT in my REM 700 260 with a 22" barrel. FYI I have an excel spreadsheet with several different loads and a couple different bullets, including group size and all chrono information. If you would like it, I would be more than happy to share it with you.
