I am going to start working up a load using a 140gr Barnes TSX bullet and was wondering if anyone else out there had a favorite load using a 140gr bullet that they really liked??
Any help with a starting point would be greatly appreciated. Barnes' most recent load manual does not have this bullet in it yet.
Thanks

No load data for the 140 but I look forward to seeing some. I have only loaded 100gr and 120gr so far.

Texasshooter,
My 7mm-08 liked 41.5 grs. of R-15 with the 140 gr. Partition. This is a max load, so work up to it in your rifle. Reloader 15 is not too temperature sensitive. You might also try Varget and see which one your rifle likes best. Mine loved 43.5 grs. of Varget with the 140 gr. bullet.
Good Luck,
Bob

I am starting with both Varget and IMR 4350. I have seen several load recommendations for several different calibers that I have that using Reloader 15. I really need to get some of that and give it a try. I have never used any of the "Reloader" brand powders. Mostly IMR, Varget and a little Vihtavouri here and there.
