I have a 22-250 AI (8 twist) and two 22 Dashers (8 twist) and would like a little tougher bullet than the Hornady 75 A-Maxes and the Sierra 80 HPBT MK's. I use these calibers a lot on our ranch/hunting lodge area here to thin the does with our DMAP permits. They both work well with coyotes, etc., but are a little "fragile" for deer. Any ideas?

Well.....these aren't heavy, but the Nosler 60 gr. Partition, Speer 55 gr. Trophy Bonded Bear Claw, and the Barnes new 53 gr. TSX Triple Shock will all do the job very well in .224 bullets unless those Okalhoma does have gotten a lot bigger.
Good Hunting,
Bob

yup...familiar with those....was trying to see if anyone made the heavier bullets, tho. I am thinking about trying the Barnes bullet.
