Anbody use Winchester 748 powder in their .223? I've got some 50 gr. V-Max and 55 gr. Nosler BT's to start out with. Working up a load for my new rifle.

Yep. sure do... the only problem is that 748 is a bit temperature sensitive. I am getting ready to switch to AA-2520. However the load that I use in my .223 with 748 is CCI400 primer, 26.5gr 748 and a 55gr Nos BT or Hornady SX bullet. Shoots real accurate, but again, watch for pressure signs when the temp get up above 90-95 F. PLEASE WORK UP TO THIS LOAD..... THIS IS NOT A STARTING LOAD!
