Opening day, 5 pt buck, 11 yards, broadside

Bow season opened yesterday....I saw him about 80 yards out headed the other direction so I hit the rattle bag lightly, gave a few grunts and here he came. I had the crosshair behind the shoulder and my finger on the trigger (crossbow).....broadside at 10 yards.....slick, fat and pretty, but he needs to grow up......so he got a pass. A doe wouldn't have been as lucky! Not a bad way to spend opening day evening!!!
