I shot this guy on Sunday afternoon. He was 7.5 years old. He is 20" inside and both his G-2's are over 12"s. He is a mainframe 8, but with the 2 extra points on his left side he is a 10pt. He grossed 151 and change. Without those 2 extra points, he would have been a 147 gross 8 point! What do ya think? Also, we shot those bad dudes on Sunday night driving the roads. The smaller one had 17 rattles!!!!    |

And as far as those last two things.....YUK!!!! But at least thats 2 more I aint gotta worry about!! LOL

Wow, thats a nice set of heavy antlers. Hopefully, maybe I will see something half as nice as that this year hunting. The place I am going hunting had a nice 11 point seen at the end of last season. Hopefully it will be there when I go Thanksgiving weekend.

I killed it on my in-laws ranch in Frio County. They have some great deer out there, and they are only getting bigger! Previous to this I was always on cull and doe detail (the last 2 years)........I guess I have moved up to "management" bucks now. He is certainly a trophy to me!

Bobcat, he is a trophy for me as well. Two years ago I shot an 8 and a 9 point that went 130ish, those were trophies as well..................the ranch just calls management bucks. Whatever, I'll shoot em all day long!
