Saturday morning I was in my deer stand on our lease near Robert Lee. I was wiping some sleep from my eyes, when this hideous looking creature stepped out in front of me about 120 yards out, shaking its head and snorting like a bull. I finally put my .300 WinMag on him when I saw an antler sticking out of that salad. When the smoke cleared, it ended up to be an old 6 point, 160 lbs buck. Talk about your bad hair day, this guy had done battle with a YUCCA; but the yucca got the last laugh, when the buck got his self "killed dead!"

>:(Sorry to disappoint you guys... but that "PILLOW" is a 50lbs. bag of corn bought at Key Feed Store in Robert Lee. And tired as I did, I just couldn't force my self to hunt naked for that critter either! I know you guys are jealous cuz your deers don't have their own hula skirt! But hey (or is that HAY)... that's huntin in west Texas!

;)Hey Mikie... it was tempting, but I'm just keeping the horns (and the yucca). If it had been a 10 pointer, he'd been up there faster than a sneeze in a gnat's nose!

Tks, Bob.... I even took him to your buddy Newt Nettlin at Coke County Deer Processing... he said to tell you "howdy". He even said that he'd never seen a deer like that one!
