has anybody ever started skinning out a deer (buck) and find that it smells really bad as though the deer had something wrong(sick) with it and if so what did you do with the carcass?

Sometimes it is nothing more than the diet that will cause the smell. If you are in area of lots of cedar, or locust trees, that will cause an odor.
A buck in rut will generate all kinds of smells that are basically hormonal and sometimes ageing the meat will reduce the smell and sometimes the taste will be o.k.
But, if you're not still sure or feel uncomfortable with the odor.... dispose of the carcass!
