A little over a year ago, I got a "Game Crank" from All Seasons Feeders for my truck. I got it mostly for large hogs I could not throw in the truck by myself......see, I am a positive thinker! It will easily handle up to 600 lbs., allows the tail-gate to be down, and swivels around into the bed. It also breaks down into two main pieces so it is easy to transport. I have really enjoyed it. Bob It works on smaller game also, like blackbuck does:

That's nice but, what are you going to do when you get one of those little HAWGS (AS IN LITTLE SHY OF 800 LBS). There's got to be at least a few that have made it to that size.

......why, I'll call you to come and help!!! ;D
I would probably just have a heart attack on the spot if I ever dropped a big ol' boar over 600 lbs.

Got the material in the backyard to make one, just haven't gotten around to it yet. Too many projects going at one time. Those 600 lb + hogs do exsist, but finding them is just as hard as loading one in the truck. Two years ago a buddy of mine shot a big ol boar that the 4 of us could not come close to loading in the truck. Had to quarter him up to get him loaded. Had some monster tusks too.

Hickbuilt has a game hoist very similar to All Seasons as well. I was poking around their web-site again today. Here is a link to their site. They are just up the road from San Antonio in Comal County: www.hickbuilt.com/accessories.htmlBob

Thanks for the PLUG Bob. I finally registered on your boards I took long enough. I have been so busy that I have not been doing much but working lately.. The only thing about my Game Hoists that folks don't like is that they do NOT swivel. Even though they do not swivel you can still get game into yout truck pretty easy. I have shot a couple #200 + hogs and a #200 Axis Deer that I would have NEVER loaded without the hoist. They are a MUST for the SOLO hunter. They will really save your back..Adios' for now..
