Bob, great looking board, thanks for invite. I'm Richard Grantham from Schertz, Tx, been posting on other boards as barber, barberx or under my own name! Retired navy/Airforce and now from barbering. I'm 69+ so don't hunt much but really like it, just quit making custom calls as www.rgcustomcalls.comUsed a 222 most of my life for predators but just traded up ?? to a Howa 223- mostly to utilize all the free brass. Tooting my own horn as former 2nd place winner in Arizona Varmint Callers with 195 coyotes, 20 bobcats, and 5 foxes, ( I think) in 18 weeks of calling/ of course as several guys said--- thats back when coyotes were dumber, don't know about that but I SURE was :>) Richard Grantham wanted to use crittercaller long time ago as handle

I'm Canadian, I hope that is OK I've only started hunting coyotes recently, last winter actually. I've called in 2, bagged one I shoot a 260 remington for coyotes, very lethal, but a little hard on hides. I like to handload and shoot, but love hunting even more. I will hope to learn a trick or two from you guys.

Hi, My name is Ray La Fon and I live in San Angelo,Tx. I am retired from the Air Force and have a carpet cleaning business. I reload, cast bullets, shoot and hunt. I have purple martin houses and control sparrows with traps and air guns. Past several years my concern deer hunting has been mostly for my grandson to get his. I started him shooting at age 7 and he got his first deer at 9 and has gotten atleast one per year since--most years more--he's 14 now. In the past I shot lots of jackrabbits. Most were with cast bullets in various .22 centerfires. 58 grain cast bullet about 2000-2200fps does a fine job out to about as far as you can spotlight them. I posted on Shooters before it closed down

Thank you for the invitation Bob. Don't know whether to call you Bob or Calypso since it is your board. I'll think on it some.
Anyway... Bob got me started calling coyotes in Texas. I had managed to sneek into TX from the Okla. border on occassion but was young back then and had a fear of never getting back home.
I have been calling for a long time and determine my success by the fun I have had.
My opinion and approach to calling predators is somewhat of a departure from what your typically hear and read in the rags and boards.
I've managed to collect a few calls over the years and have learned how to produce a variety of sounds on a single call.
My favorite pasttime is tossing Bob's skunk scent vents out my truck window. LOL

Hey Jay,
I am glad to see you, brother!! I hope you will post some pics and infromation about your calls in the Hand Call forum along with a link!! I have already been asked about the article I wrote for "Varmint Masters" about our first hunt up at the 2CK Ranch and your idea about tossing me in the stock tank!!
For those of you that don't know Jay, he owns Rhino Game Calls and was one of the original Arizona Predator Posse several years ago.
Welcome aboard!
Bob, aka Calypso
