Well here we go.
I presently live in Lutz, Florida. I own a CNC machine shop in Tampa. I grew up in Nacogdoches Tx. Love to hunt & fish. (Catch & Kill). I'm new to yote hunting. Never called any up but have shot a few in the last few years. Shot a solid "black" one this year with my 22 mag.
I'm really interested in finding new places I can go to shoot p-dogs & call yotes with my boys.
I found this site & log on frequently to read about the sport.
I've shot NRA HPower for a number of years till I got my CMP Distinguished Marksmanship Badge. I'm tired of shooting paper targets! Varmints Beware!

I'm Ken Little from St. Louis. You can blame Doorgunner for bringing me over here. I prefer to hunt pig, as I think pork is tastier than coyote  My Filipina girlfriend loves roast pork, so keeping her happy is a priority. If you met her, you'd know why;) I'm an old-time AR-15 and 1911 guy, though I'll use an AK in a pinch. I'm right-handed, but blind in the right eye, so semi-autos make more sense for me. Hopefully, I'll be able to get some time off of work and head down for a combination pig-hunt/get drunk trip with my buddies from DFW. Heck, we can always get pig from the store! Semper Fi! |

CRITR-Congrats on the black coyote! I hope you are doing a full body mount. They are VERY rare!!
kpel308-No problem finding hogs in Texas!! We have a bunch of members in the DFW area as well as east and west of DFW.

Hello to all, I was invited to this site by GonHuntin on the AR board. I have been calling coyotes and bobcats since I was eight years old. I'd like to think I'm pretty good myself but still get skunked on occasion. I guess it keeps me humble! Hey Nate, welcome aboard. My hat's off to you for getting those boys out hunting. I love to see people get their kids in the field.
I've always believed in the old saying that: "Take your kids hunting, and you'll never have to hunt for your kids".
BTW, that's a nice looking cat.

I have spent over 30 minutes trying to get a message to post. Keeps saying too busy. This is during day time work hours, very frustrating. Hope it gets better.
