I live in Illinois southwestern part near St Louis Mo.
I am 39 and have worked as a carpenter, contractor , administrator, and welder....(the short list)
I am a life long trapper , hunter and lover of the outdoor life...I own a sawmill and live way out in the sticks....WHAT A LIFE!
I enjoy trhis forum VERY much and have read it for 2 months. The moral and kind tone as well as the sincere friendliness has impressed and convinced me THIS is a group worth joining!

Hello all. My name is Robert Ellis. AKA Bubba. I am from the best state in the US... TEXAS. To pin point me exactly, look at a map of TEXAS. Find Dallas, go north out of Dallas on Hwy 377 about 45 miles and look for a bump in the road, with the name of Collinsville! I am a former US Air Force Special Forces Paratrooper. I had my fill of the "gone all the time life", and so did my wife. Needless to say what my wife say's goes. Now I am trying to reestablish myself as a civilian, and man is it harder than I expected! I guess I was to accustom to the US Military Welfare system! But anywho, I will survive as long as I have my Hunting, Family, Hunting, Friends, Hunting, Business. I guess you get my point. I owe a lot to hunting, and hope to pass my fondness of hunting on to newbies and non hunters. Well, off my soap-box, and back to work. I look forward to exchanging stories, tips and techs with all. I live in North Eastern Oregon and frequent several gun and hunting forums. I bow and rifle hunt, but typically hunt elk with a bow and everything else with a rifle.
