Hey, Welcome to the Texas Predator Posse. Please tell us a little about yourself. Good Hunting, Bob I'm an outdoor writer. Have called predators for 50 years. I'm currently looking for people who have intentionally taken cougar without hounds - by calling, tracking, whatever. I'd like to phone you and talk. Coyotl

Howdy Gents,
My name is Blake Box. I live and ranch in a little hole in the wall town north of San Angelo called Robert Lee, TX. Really I live at Edith.... LOL...
I am a trapper at heart, but do enjoy calling in a fox or cat about as well as anyone. I have been playing this computer game pretty hard and know quite a few of you from other websites.
I will post some information about the TEXAS TRAPPER AND FUR HUNTERS ASSOCIATION if it is allowed...
All TEXANS need to be a member, it is the only organization that is fighting for your rights to trap and hunt fur in TEXAS, that I know of... If there is another, let me know and I will join it....
Keep you powder dry....

Hey Blake,
Welcome to the Posse! As you will see on this sight, I do a lot of hunting around Robert Lee. The biggest bobcat I have ever called in was at Edith! I love to eat at the Cracker Barrel too! ;D
I posted the information about the Rendezvous in the Trapping, Tanning, and Taxidermy forum earlier today. I am glad you got it in the Texas Hunting Information forum as well!!
Good Hunting & Trapping,
Bob

Hello all, my name is James Hood. I was born and raised in Robert Lee. Just recently moved to the ranch just East of Bronte. Still have land interests and cattle all over Coke county. I am in the registered Charolais cattle business and farm. I am also in the outfitting business and own and operate BIg Country Outfitters. We offer fully guided hunts for white-tails, mule deer, hogs, turkeys and starting this year due to popular demand will be offering daytime and nightime predator calling hunts. I started calling in the mid 60`s and have just never stopped. I had rather call or trap than anything else I have ever done. I have a Masters degree in wildlife management and think it is a crying shame the way we are manageing our deer in Texas. I guess I am giving away my age but I can remember when there were some white-tail deer in Coke county that were worth hunting. If any of you get up this way give me a call and I will buy you a glass of tea and maybe we can line up a calling trip.
