Hey Terry,
Man, is it great to hear from you! I thought the wind had blown you away up there is SW Oklahoma. One of my most memorable hunts is when the three of us called in that lion! I also remember taking your son out with us and his enthusiasm......it is great to be young!
Welcome to the Posse!!

Hello All,
I would like to introduce myself, my name is Marcos Parra and I live in the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia. I started hunting when I was 12 years old, gave it up for over 20 years and am just getting back into it the last year or so. I joined the San Diego Chapter of the California Varmint Callers back in 1968 and help start the El Cajon Chapter in 1970. I enjoyed Varmint hunting the most of all the hunting I have done.
I am finding that things have really changed since I last hunted, the anti’s have really done a number on what, when, where and if one can hunt, at all! Since 9/11 moving your guns to other countries and back to get in some good hunting has become a real chore. So I think that participating with this group and on this board and tagging along on some of the hunts may be just the ticket for me.
I am a young 57 years old, an Engineer in the Telecom industry, I enjoy Fishing, Hunting, Golf and am learning to use my lathe and mill hoping to fill my spare time with gun projects.
Thank you all for having me,
Marcos elalto@cox.net

Thanks for the invite, according to my wife all I do is either hunt or try to get another hunt planned. And inbetween spend to much money on guns. Charles

Hey Texasman. My wife says the same thing. The thing about guns is you just have to bring your new one in when she is not around and slip it in with all of the rest of them and she will never know. I keep a seperate bank account just for my hunt and gun money. Yes, she knows about it but doesn't mind as long as she gets to buy her 'stuff' as well.

Hey you all! My name is Dave and i'm from up north in Nebraska. Coondawg told me i should check you guys out here. I have been a gunsmith for over 25 yrs, i kinda gave it up for a while and decided to get a real job. Now i'm back at again more on the custom side only, general repairs i don't fancy anymore. I'm employed at an Iowa University as the Director of Security(baby sitter). I'm currently designing custom rifle actions and trying to get into some kind of production. The only hunting i have really done a lot of is the Ringneck's up here in Nebraska. Have done some blackpowder deer hunting also, i hate the cold though!! Take care everyone...love reading all the posts. you can check out my website also, there are some hunting pics there and lots of other stuff. Dave www.viersco.com
