Well it will be a 224TTH, 366D.G.W. and maybe a 408 C-T. Not in that order, so I will be asking for help on re-learning how to reload. Since the last time I did in was back in 1985 and only for a little while.
GonHuntin you're not the only Big Bore Nut on here ;D,

Well the 408 Chyenne Tactical is based off the 505 Gibbs cartridge necked down to accept a 408 caliber bullet. The idea behind this is to fill a gap between the 338 Lapua Magnum and 50 BMG as a possible round for the military sniper. Warren Jensen and Dave Durham of Lost River Ballastics are the parents so to speak of this round. Designed to engage target out to 2000 yards plus (yep, that right some people do that) using a lathe turned copper bullet of 419 grains they succeed in doing just this. This has been in the works for some time now and with different barrel manufactuers doing barrels makes it easier for someone to have one. The first completed gun was the EDM Windrunner, a custom built $7000.00 rifle, then came a bolt action rifle called the Intervention which looks just like a regular hunting rifle except it has a looong barrel. They stopped at 2000 yards due to lack of optics reaching out that far. The continuing efforts of these men has opened many eyes. Now we are seeing a custom made rifle (the one I'm looking at) weights 14-1/2 lbs with a Nightforce 5.5-22x56 scope. If you would like to check this rifle out and get more info on it or some other interesting calibers please go to www.viersco.com Dave Viers has built a proto type rifle form scratch and is now building a single shot. Oh btw the bolt action comes either in 5 or 7 shots.

I have one wildcat and it is a "Kitty". 22 CHeetah MK 1 Take a 308BR case and neck it down to 22 caliber. I use 243 brass so I can use a large primer versus a small primer. The "Classic" load is 44gr of IMR 4064 and that is what I use. It pushes a 52gr bullet at 4280FPS, 10 feet from the muzzle. Using that rifle - cartridge I managed to kill 74 woodchucks this past summer with my personal best being one at 675 yards. Here are a couple of pictures of the "Kitty" Don

Gonhuntin,
Do you have any of these rounds with a headstamped case to match? I would be happy to buy some from you for my collection.

No, kind of unusual to have a wildcat with the proper head stamp since they are normally based on a parent case???

Ya I am new to the cartridge collecting. But I know some of the wildcats like the mm IHMSA were actually made for a few years with factory headstamp. I think IHMSA themselves had the round produced. I have some factory brass with ram headstamp.
