Hey Marvin,
Welcome to the Posse!! I am glad you made it! It sounds to me like your rifle battery is ideal for anything we have here in Texas!
Good Hunting,

Hello all! My name is Bob Campbell. I live in Andrews, TX (west TX) & work for an oilfield service company. I am 54 years old and I guess I've been hunting/calling coyotes for about 18-20 years. I like all kinds of hunting and shooting, but predator calling is my favorite. There are very few cats in my immediate vacinity, a few gray fox, however most of them live in town, to avoid the coyotes I guess. Anyway, by far, the most dominant predator around here is the coyote. I use pretty much all kinds of calling tools, but have sort of gotten away from electronic callers. The majority of my favorite calls are the open-reed type of mouth calls. I'm curious to hear from other callers who call in the heavy oilfield areas. I've learned over the years that these oilfield coyotes act differently than some others.

Hey Bob, Welcome to the Posse! You are within shouting distance of BozoWise, Dead Eye, and the rest of the gang out there just acrosss the border in Hobbs, NM. Just make yourself at home! I would go to the Coyote forum and just start up a thread about callin' in the patch!! I have a soft spot for those open reed calls as well. Be sure to hand out in the Hand Calls forum a bit!! Good Hunting, Bob

Hello evryone. I'm a 52 yr.old pipefitter from Elwood Illinois and have been Calling for a few years now with a few Yotes under my belt. I'm using a rem. 700 vssf in 22-250 and am very pleased with results thusfar. I use both electronic calls and mouthblown calls. Am just starting to use decoys as our night-season/light shooting is over jan. 31. Any illinois hunters out there? Gimme a holler. I'm building motion decoys and am willing to share things I've learned with other predator callers.

Thanks for inviting me to this site Bob. I like the way ya'll have it set up. I live North and West of Madill ,OK with my wife and daughter , got a 19 year old son but he moved to town recently (I glad I don't live in town).I worked in southern Missouri at 3M for twenty years. My wifes father passed away and left her mother with the family homestead, and no one to help take care of it so I took my 20 year vested pension and moved to OK. Have been hunting since I was old enough to drag a BB gun behind my Dad and his bird dogs and Beagle hounds. I started Predator hunting in the early 70's, mainly coyotes and bobcats. I also ran a river trapline through Jr. High and High school. We will hunt any thing that is legal and in season . I've always been jealous of you TX hunters getting to hunt at night. I also have relatives in Kansas so I try to get up there once a year for some hunting. I went to grade school there and all my old class mates are running their family ranchs so I have quite a bit of hunting ground there. Glad to be here, Okie-Yoter

Hey OY,
I lived up in Tulsa for two years. There is some excellent predator hunting on your side of the Red River. Just poke around and make yourself at home......
Good Hunting,
Bob

Hi Bob, great site can't believe I just found it. Been hunting coyotes and foxes in Southern Illinois since 1979. Have used both hand calls and lately been getting excellant results with a remote Fox Pro unit. I am a avid handgun hunter using mostly a XP 100 in .221 Rem. Again great site, all the best Decker
